Kath Essing

Kath is a courageous advocate for individuals who have experienced silence in their lives. She believes that true strength lies in embracing one’s own story.

Her memoir, “The Courage to Speak Your Truth”, invites readers into her intimate world, unveiling the complexities of her experiences, the emotional toll of survival, and the empowering journey of recovery.

Through her writing, Kath aims to uplift individuals and spark meaningful conversations that reshape the narratives surrounding the remembering, recovering, and reporting of childhood trauma.

Kath is passionate about bridging the gap in barriers to belonging by empowering individuals to understand their own stories, so they can, in turn, embrace the stories of others. She believes that this deeper understanding enables profound connections, regardless of our past. By courageously dismantling the cycles of silence, we can create a more inclusive environment where everyone deserves to be seen and heard.
