Emma Hardy
Emma Hardy is an Australian writer based in Naarm/Melbourne. Her work has appeared in prestigious publications including Guernica, The Monthly, Los Angeles Review of Books, The Lifted Brow, Voiceworks, and Going Down Swinging.
Emma’s writing frequently explores the lives of women, the natural world, and the complexities of “madness.” Her debut book, Periodic Bitch, is a deeply personal and insightful examination of living with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD).
Recently, Emma returned to Australia after three years in Nevada, where she was an MFA candidate at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. During her time there, she taught university-level English and creative writing and served as the nonfiction editor for Witness Magazine.

Moderator – Charlotte Guest
Charlotte Guest is an accomplished writer and bookseller based in Victoria. Her essays and short stories have appeared in numerous literary journals, and she is the author of the award-winning novel, The Kookaburra, which won the 2026 Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for an Unpublished Manuscript.
Deeply embedded in the regional literary community, Charlotte is the manager of The Book Bird bookshop in Geelong—a space she fondly considers her second home.
